For the last 13 years, Carolina Classic Hits has been playing the "Greatest Hits Of All Time."  It's truly been a labor of love for me to design, produce and host the shows that propelled us to be one of the most listened to Classic Hits in the world on the TuneIn radio app.  When spending most of the summer of 2012 developing the format, listening to the station play privately for analysis and adjustments, I never considered that CCH would be so popular worldwide. 

 

That popularity would later, due to the USA's copyright royalty rules that require payment for each listener and every song, forced us to "geofence" our stream to areas outside the USA.  Still, we had a loyal group of listeners in all the other areas of the world and I am thankful for every one of you. 

 

The time has come to turn out the lights in the studio and let the sun set on the greatest hits of the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.  This closing of the station was bound to come sooner or later and a catastrophic computer failure on October 12, 2025 made the decision of "when" for CCH.  Personally, I would love to make the repairs and get back "on the air" however I have some health issues that are now dictating my life.

You are the greatest listeners of all time.  Collectively, you have proven that if the music is carefully screened and researched, then a radio station can be successful with a playlist spanning over 40 years and the same deejay hosting the programs 24/7 for 13 straight years.
